Serbia: the newest country to join the Eurodesk network

18 March 2019

During the Spring Network Meeting, Eurodesk welcomed its new member to the network. Eurodesk Serbia is the 36th country where Eurodesk is present.

The coordination of Eurodesk in Serbia will be the responsibility of Foundation Tempus. The organisation was founded in 2002 to enable the Republic of Serbia’s participation of in the Tempus Programme, aimed at supporting the improvement of higher education. Since then, the Tempus Foundation has gradually become responsible for other EU programmes. Since 2014, the Foundation has been responsible for the implementation of the education component of the extensive Erasmus+ Programme for education, youth and sport.

In the following months, Eurodesk Serbia will focus on building up Eurodesk services in the country that will help Serbian young people to get informed about mobility opportunities in other parts of Europe.
