Eurodesk Awards 2020: Winners announcement

The Eurodesk Awards was established in 2011 to celebrate the day-to-day work of
Eurodesk’s local multipliers, who are helping young people discover and seize the numerous
opportunities Europe has to offer. In 2020, the Eurodesk Awards format was updated to mirror the realities of youth information workers in Europe and to celebrate innovative ways to inform, connect and engage young people.

From the 50 projects coming from 15 countries, 3 winners were selected by a jury panel and a prize was awarded to the Eurodesk network’s favourite project:

  • Most creative information project: using engaging and/or innovative methods, fun and festive activities as well as games to inform young people.
  • Most inclusive information project: reaching out to young people with fewer opportunities and connecting with local communities.
  • Most empowering information project: youth-led projects and/or using peer to peer approaches to empower young people as information creators/providers.
  • Eurodesk Network Prize: the community award, selected by Eurodesk national coordinators and awarded for the most inspiring project from the entries.
