Since the launch of the European Youth Portal in 2004, the Eurodesk Network has been handling all inquiries coming from the Portal through a multilingual helpdesk. These inquiries range from questions about programmes such as Erasmus+, volunteering in Europe, and many more.
Operating across 36 countries with 38 National Coordination officers, as well as the Eurodesk Brussels Link office, Eurodesk not only contributes part of the content for the European Youth Portal but also actively engages with the youth, providing specialised and tailored answers concerning European learning mobility opportunities.
Since the launch of the new portal, Eurodesk has answered more than 100.000 enquiries through it!
What is the European Youth Portal?
The European Youth Portal is an online platform where young people can find European and country-level information about opportunities and initiatives. It's designed to support young people who are living, learning, or working in Europe by providing resources in 29 different languages. On the Youth Portal, young people can register and apply directly to participate in the European Solidarity Corps and DiscoverEU.
Young people from across Europe and beyond can use the ‘Ask a question’ function on the Youth Portal to contact one of the Eurodesk offices and ask questions about youth participation, mobility programmes and many more!
