Eurodesk published 3 new guides for young people

13 November 2024

Eurodesk is glad to release its new guides to inform and empower young people as eco-travellers and change-makers for a greener planet!

Our guides on Youth-Led Projects for Change-Makers, How to Volunteer for the Climate, and How to Become an Eco-Traveller present different ways to get involved in sustainable practices and offer practical tips for making a positive environmental impact. Each guide is tailored to help young people make informed decisions based on various interests, whether it’s starting their own project with a green focus, joining established eco-friendly initiatives through volunteering, or adopting travel practices that help to save both money and the environment.

These brochures are designed not only as informational resources but also as motivational tools to inspire action, highlighting the tangible impact individuals can have on global sustainability. From eco-conscious travel to grassroots environmental projects, the guides emphasise the importance of youth-led movements in driving meaningful, lasting change.

Some topics discussed include:

  • Reducing your carbon footprint with eco-friendly travel alternatives
  • Receiving funding for youth-led projects through the European Solidarity Corps
  • Exchanging with other young people through the Erasmus+ Youth Exchanges
  • Volunteering with Greenpeace and other organisations

We encourage all young people looking to contribute to a greener future to explore these publications and discover the many ways you can make a difference, whether locally or internationally. With practical steps and resources tailored for youth, these guides make it easier than ever to turn your passion for sustainability into impactful actions whether it be while travelling, volunteering, or developing your own projects.
