Today, we commence our 35th-anniversary celebrations, honouring a legacy that began in 1990 in Scotland and continues to flourish with the support of our Eurodesk national coordinators, multipliers, young people and partners across the European continent.
For over three decades, Eurodesk has been at the heart of empowering young people, providing clear and accessible information about international mobility programmes, and encouraging them to become active citizens!
“For 35 years, Eurodesk has been the go-to source for young people seeking to make a difference in their communities and to advance their personal and professional paths through international mobility,” says Audrey Frith, Eurodesk director.
“Thanks to our network of local multipliers we can reach young people everywhere, not only in the bigger cities. In the upcoming years, I see Eurodesk making mobility information reach every city, every region and every young person,” says Pavlina Macounova, Eurodesk President.
To celebrate this remarkable journey, Eurodesk is launching a year-long series of events and activities, designed to engage, inspire, and connect! Highlights of the celebrations include:
-
- A reception in Brussels to celebrate our 35th anniversary with our partners and stakeholders on 9th April
- The release of the Youth Info Survey 2025 results
- The launch of our new website
- Recognising and celebrating the achievements of the Eurodesk Multipliers through the Eurodesk Awards 2025
- A Euro-wide culinary exchange initiative involving young people across Europe
As we reflect on 35 years of providing quality information to young people about youth mobility, we are reminded that our greatest achievements have come from our collective efforts as a Network, with our 38 National Coordination offices in 36 countries and more than 3000 multipliers and ambassadors!
Join us as we honour our past, celebrate our present, and look forward to an even brighter future. Follow us on our social media channels to stay up-to-date on the celebrations!
