CONTENT CREATOR ASSISTANT 2026 (INTERNSHIP)

Do you want to inspire young people across Europe to go on learning mobility or make their voices heard? Eurodesk Brussels Link is looking for a content creator assistant (internship). The intern will assist the team with content creation and editing for various communication campaigns and projects. The proposed length of the internship is six (6) months.

With a network of national coordinators connected to over 4000 local information providers and Eurodesk centres in 36 European countries, Eurodesk is the main source of information on European policies and opportunities for young people and those who work with them. Eurodesk Brussels Link coordinates the activities of the network, providing various information tools and resources, and managing several digital platforms and social media channels. The network also updates and manages content on the European Youth Portal.

Tasks

Content Creation for Social Media:

  • Develop and edit engaging and educational content like videos, pictures or graphics for Eurodesk’s social media, mainly Instagram and TikTok, but also YouTube, LinkedIn and Facebook, following the brand guidelines and the Com team’s instructions.

  • Capture and edit high-quality photos during Eurodesk events and activities and support the content creation of such events, webinars and campaigns on topics such as mental health, inclusion, youth participation, sustainable mobility and more.

  • Assist in recording and editing podcast episodes and eLearning videos.

  • Other duties as directed by the Eurodesk director and other supervising staff members.

Requirements 

  • An academic background in content creation, communication, advertising, journalism, design, audiovisual, or equivalent experience.

  • A strong interest in digital content creation and social media.

  • Video editing skills, using softwares like Canva, CapCut, Adobe Suite (Adobe Premiere Pro, Photoshop, Lightroom, After Effects), and Create Studio Pro.

  • Basic knowledge of audio editing software (e.g., Audacity, Adobe Audition).

  • Knowledge of social media channels and trends.

  • Strategic thinking applied to the content creation process, aligning it with the organisation’s needs and focusing on the target audiences.

  • The capacity to work in English (Min B2 – written and spoken).

  • A detail-oriented, energetic, resourceful, and self-motivated nature.

  • The ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven, international environment.

  • An interest in youth policy and youth-related issues.

  • Previous experience working in NGOs, participating in volunteering activities, and/or involvement in (international) youth activities is a big plus.

  • A valid work permit for Belgium for the whole duration of the agreement.

Conditions

The proposed length of the internship is six (6) months. An agreement will be made according to the Belgian “Convention d’immersion professionelle” contract. The intern receives a monthly allowance (1.200 EUR/month net). 

The internship is on a full-time basis in line with the regular working hours of Eurodesk Brussels Link (38 hours/week). The intern will work in the Eurodesk Brussels Link office in Brussels,
