Do you know the history of Eurodesk?

In the late 1980s, European information was very difficult to find in most EU Member States. Eurodesk began life in March 1990 as a small regional project in Edinburgh.

The idea was simple: gather all the relevant European information in one place and present it in a clear, youth-friendly manner. The success was almost immediate, resulting in a rapid increase in users beyond the region.

35 years later, Eurodresk is present in 36 countries and every year supports thousands of young people in their projects to discover the world and become active citizens.

Here is where the Eurodesk founders started ideating this project, as they found the need of a clear and youth-friendly information service!

Explore the interactive timeline to discover the most important Eurodesk milestones and celebrate our 35-year journey with us, while also learning about major world events that took place at the same time.

Bonus: Listen to playlists featuring hit songs from every decade. Feeling nostalgic yet?
