Cook and explore different cultures with the Tasty Europe recipe book

.

To celebrate Eurodesk’s 35th anniversary, Eurodesk invites its members and young people to come together, discover new recipes, experience exciting flavours, and connect through the universal language of food. Join us in fostering intercultural exchange and building new friendships across Europe!

What is Tasty Europe? What’s inside the recipe book?

Cuisine is a window into a culture’s soul, revealing stories, customs, and perspectives. It’s a powerful tool for building bridges and fostering understanding. Tasty Europe is a culinary adventure taken by the members of the Eurodesk Network to celebrate the 35th Anniversary of the organisation and connect young people with European opportunities, inviting them to discover Europe through its diverse flavours

For this purpose, we have created a recipe book in which the 38 national Eurodesks each contributed a menu featuring typical dishes from their country. Then a recipe lottery was organised to randomly assign each country a different menu, which would be prepared with young people during an exciting event.

How to join?

If you’re a Eurodesk Multiplier or National Coordinator, you can host this event in your community to explore the unique flavours and traditions of 36 European countries, foster intercultural dialogue, ignite interest in international mobility, and celebrate Eurodesk’s 35th anniversary. Don’t forget to take and share pictures of your activity to encourage others to participate!

If you’re a young person, you can contact your closest Eurodesk info point and ask about this initiative! We encourage you to cook the recipes from the book and share them on your social media, tagging @eurodesk and using the hashtag #eurodesk35.
