Eurodesk Autumn Meeting: New Leadership, Awards, and AI Vision

.

From 16-18 September, the Autumn Eurodesk Network Meeting was hosted in Rotterdam by Eurodesk Netherlands!

During the meeting, a new president, a new member of the Eurodesk Executive Committee, and a new host organisation for Eurodesk Ukraine were elected.

The meeting hosts, Maikel de Reuver and Mariska van Hoeven, Eurodesk National Coordinators in the Netherlands.

Malou Durve, Strategy and Impact Advisor of the Erasmus+ National Agency in the Netherlands and Miriam Petra Ómarsdóttir Awad, Eurodesk Executive Committee Member, welcomed the participants with inspiring words on the power of mobility and the role of Eurodesk.

“Learning mobility not only offers the possibility to experience new environments, it also fosters openness and supports one another through challenging times. The iconic Erasmus Bridge, located here in Rotterdam, is a symbol of this connection, representing the bonds formed through Erasmus+ and living together across borders.” – Malou Durve

“Eurodesk has a unique role in unlocking opportunities for young people to grow and discover new horizons in a complex global environment. Our outreach role is essential, and it needs to be visible to national stakeholders in the context of the negotiations on the future programmes.” – Miriam Petra Omarsdottir Awad

The meeting provided a space for exchanging knowledge and sharing the exciting activities carried out across the Network in recent months. Participants also worked on developing the Eurodesk AI Principles, Youth Outreach, and Youth Participation.

We also thank our former President, Pavlina Macounova and member, Laura Kiviselg, for their hard work and dedication, and wish them all the best in the next chapter of their lives.
