Eurodesk is excited to announce the launch of the fourth European-wide Youth Info Survey, an ambitious initiative that aims to understand the information patterns and mobility experiences of young people across Europe. The survey targets young people aged 13 to 35, diving into the specifics of their learning mobility experiences in recent years.
The objectives of the Youth Info Survey
- Gather insights into the information-seeking habits of young people and their preferences regarding mobility experiences abroad.
- Use the data to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of Eurodesk's communication strategies in reaching young people.
- Marking the 35th anniversary of Eurodesk, highlighting its long-standing commitment to youth information.
- Advocate for youth information recognition: Use the findings to advocate for greater recognition and investment in youth information services from decision-makers.
“Eurodesk is dedicated to empowering young people and ensuring that their voices are heard. The YouthInfoSurvey is a critical step in this process. By providing a platform for direct feedback, we can gather invaluable insights that will inform our future actions and services, ensuring that Eurodesk remains a relevant and supportive resource for young people across Europe.", said Audrey Frith, Eurodesk Director
Survey details
The survey will be conducted online through Eurodesk, making it accessible to a broad audience across Europe. Participants will be asked about their recent learning mobility experiences, the types of opportunities they seek, the duration they are willing to commit to such experiences, and how they discover these opportunities. The deadline to complete the survey is 12 November 2024. The survey is open to young people where Eurodesk operates a national coordination office ( European Union Member States, Georgia, Iceland, Liechtenstein, North Macedonia, Norway, Serbia, Switzerland, Türkiye, Ukraine).
