Since 2011, the Eurodesk Awards have been shining a spotlight on the incredible work of Eurodesk multipliers across Europe. Each year, they celebrate local projects that empower young people, spark new ideas, and create real change in communities.
In 2026, Eurodesk proudly marks the 15th anniversary of the Eurodesk Awards, a milestone honouring years of creativity, collaboration, and commitment to youth information.
For the 2026 edition of the Eurodesk Awards, 66 projects by 53 organisations from 15 countries competed for 4 prizes.
Following the tradition, a high-level panel, comprising representatives from various organisations, selected the three winners of the thematic categories. Then, the National Eurodesk offices chose the Network Prize winner.
The Members of the Jury for the 2026 Eurodesk Awards were:
- Sofia Afanasjeva, from the European Parliament;
- Robert Helm-Pleuger, from the Eurodesk Network;
- Simone Lepore, from the Erasmus Student Network;
- Mathieu Orphanides, from the European Commission;
- Milosh Ristovski, from the European Youth Forum.
The winner of the ‘Creative Youth Information’ category is Asociación Cultural Ingalicia from Spain, with the project ‘Eurodesk Race’.
The project aimed to promote the Eurodesk network and European mobility opportunities among young people through an original and gamified format: a team competition that took place across the north of Spain from 15 to 20 October 2025. The race started in Friol, a small village in the Galicia Region and home to one of the Eurodesk multipliers, and was structured in five stages: León, Santander, Logroño, Zaragoza and Olot. Each city hosted a Eurodesk point that acted as a partner throughout the project, helping young people discover European opportunities in an interactive and engaging way.

‘The Path to Employability Part I: Empowering Local NGOs Working with Refugees and Migrants’ by Eskişehir Governorship from Türkiye was named the winner of the ‘Inclusive Youth Information’ category.
The project aimed to enhance the employability of refugee and migrant youth aged 18 to 25 while supporting their social and cultural integration at the local level. It focused on removing barriers that prevent disadvantaged refugee and migrant young people from entering the labour market. The project primarily targeted young people with fewer opportunities who faced multiple barriers, including language difficulties, limited social networks, uncertain legal status, and unfamiliarity with local systems. Many participants had not previously heard of Erasmus+ or the European Solidarity Corps, making them part of the underrepresented groups this award category aims to recognise.

The winner of the ‘Youth Participation & Democracy Award’ is Young Europe Society from Romania, with the project ‘Know Your Rights!’
The project responded to the lack of accessible information and real opportunities for democratic participation in rural communities in Harghita County. It aimed to strengthen youth participation and civic engagement by helping young people better understand their rights. Through dialogue with decision-makers, the project created space for young people to make their voices heard and become more involved in democratic life at the local level.

The Eurodesk National Coordinators named Eurocentre Liberec from the Czech Republic, with the project ‘Taste The World: International Day’ as the ‘Eurodesk Network Prize’ winner.
International Day Liberec is a mobility festival organised by Eurocentre Liberec in partnership with the Technical University of Liberec. The event aimed to make European opportunities, such as studying, working or volunteering abroad, visible and attractive to the youngest generation through a peer-to-peer approach.

In addition to the winners, there were also four honourable mentions given to celebrate projects that demonstrated remarkable efforts and achievements:
- Airport experience with DYS airline, by Donegal Youth Service from Ireland.
- Inklusives Europafest, by Centre Français de Berlin from Germany.
- Europe Unlocked, by E35 Foundation for international projects from Italy.
- Erasmus Days: Konya Youth Festival, by Atmosfer Bosna Youth Center from Türkiye.
