Euroclasses is a Eurodesk project aimed at raising awareness about European opportunities. All the classes have been designed for young people and use non-formal methods. Different thematic modules are available:
- Euro-Volunteering: This class helps participants understand what volunteering abroad entails, the social values it carries, and how they could benefit from such an opportunity through EU programmes such as the European Solidarity Corps.
- Euro-Participation: This class helps participants focus on the big picture of European participation: understanding EU core values, governance, and decision-making processes. It empowers young people to know how they can participate actively and influence EU decisions.
- Euro-Activism: This class gives young people insights into how to become a change-maker in Europe and how the EU can support them on this path. They will find tools and methods to build their participatory projects.
- Euro-Working: This class provides an overview of the motivations for working abroad and different types of working opportunities. Participants will learn which sources of information are safe and relevant. They also receive support in building their CV and are given tips for problem-solving when abroad.
- Euro-Mobility: This class equips participants with the knowledge, skills, and attitudes to confidently engage in international mobility. They will understand the benefits of mobility, overcome common barriers and gain practical tools for preparation. Through intercultural learning, they will enhance their communication and problem-solving skills, build self-awareness, and strengthen their sense of European identity. Ultimately, they will be empowered to build on their international experience.
The classes are run by youth workers and trainers in organisations which are members of Eurodesk. Not all Eurodesk Centres run this project. If you are interested in running such modules in your school/university/youth centre, check whether the Eurodesk Centre in your country can deliver the classes.
