European Youth Portal

The European Youth Portal (EYP) is a flagship initiative of the European Commission for reaching out to young people aged 13-30. Since 2004, it has offered them quality, neutral and multilingual information on the various opportunities Europe has for them.

The Portal hosts important programmes such as the European Solidarity Corps and DiscoverEU and informs about youth participation with policy processes such as the EU Youth Dialogue and the European Youth Week.

What is Eurodesk doing on the Portal?

The Eurodesk network runs the EYP helpdesk service, handling over 200.000 enquiries each year in all official EU languages. We also contribute to the editorial line of the Portal by producing articles, stories, news and events. The Eurodesk network is also providing national information for volunteering, working and traineeship opportunities.

Eurodesk Brussels Link manages the Pool of Young Journalists in Europe, whose content is published on the European Youth Portal.
