Youth focus cards

These cards are meant to enable understanding and empathy with young people with fewer opportunities. They display a variety of life situations, providing insights into the needs and barriers connected to learning mobility as well as suggestions on how to approach them.

These cards can be used in a variety of design projects aiming at answering the particular needs of this target, being accessible to them and conveying messages that will resonate with their reality. They can also be used during training sessions on inclusion.

How to use the youth focus cards?

  • To understand more about the concrete situations and emotions specific targets can experience daily.
  • To design projects answering better their needs and showing them empathy and consideration.
  • To contribute to building a culture of belonging by designing in a more inclusive way.

When to use them?

  • At the beginning of a project, as a brainstorming tool.
  • During the creative process, to test precise ideas and features of a product; element of a communication.
  • At the end of the planning process, to assess the general inclusiveness of the all project.

These cards are also used in Eurodesk training activities.
